In the Brașov City-Region, local farms, schools and the municipality collaborate to promote healthy nutrition and food education. The video showcases George Catean, owner of the Catean Farm in Rotbav, Brașov, where cows and sheep are raised under organic practices. The Farm supplies milk to schools and hosts educational visits, allowing children to learn directly where food comes from.
At school level, Camelia Leru, Director of Secondary School No. 9 Nicolae Orghidan in Brașov, explains how students take part in information sessions on healthy nutrition, teachers receive dedicated training, and parents are actively involved through guidance on healthy school lunchboxes. The video shows how farm-school collaboration can strengthen food literacy, support healthier diets and invest in the well-being of future generations.
